Essencia Interiors was founded by Anica Bozinovski, a certified Interior Designer with a lifelong passion for transforming spaces into places where people feel comfortable, inspired and truly at home. From rearranging her bedroom as a child to designing homes across Australia, Anica has always believed that beautiful interiors should feel warm, personal and deeply connected to the people who live in them.
At Essencia Interiors, we design bespoke home interiors that are both functional and uplifting, spaces you can retreat to, relax in, and share with family and friends. Whether the project is large or small, we take the time to truly understand your lifestyle, preferences and budget, working collaboratively to bring your vision to life.
We believe homes should never feel cookie-cutter. Every space should reflect who you are. Our approach is thoughtful, detail-driven and highly personalised, incorporating treasured existing pieces wherever possible while guiding you toward selections that elevate and unify your home.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved transforming spaces into places where people feel comfortable, inspired and truly at home. Even as a little girl I spent days arranging my bedroom… little did I know that one day I would one day be doing the same on a much grander scale!
My passion for interiors has been shaped by a lifelong love of travel, creativity and creating meaningful spaces. At 16, I travelled overseas representing Australia in Futsal, an experience that sparked a love of exploring different cultures, architecture and design. Since then, I've backpacked throughout Europe and travelled extensively through Bali and Thailand, continually drawing inspiration from the places I visit.
My professional journey includes working with Victory Blinds, studying Interior Design through the Interior Design Institute, and working as an Interior Designer with Milray Park. I've also project managed the build of my own home and experienced firsthand the importance of presentation when selling a property.
More recently, I prepared my late mother's home for sale, giving me a deep appreciation for the emotional side of home transitions and the significance our homes hold in our lives.
Through Essencia Interiors, I help clients create warm, thoughtful and beautifully curated spaces that reflect their personality and lifestyle. My goal is to make the design process feel enjoyable, approachable and inspiring, while helping you create a home you truly love.
In my spare time I like to explore Melbourne with my boy, swim in the ocean, peruse unique furniture shops and hang out with friends in the great outdoors.
WHY I DO WHAT I DO
I believe our homes should make us feel grounded, inspired and at ease.
For me, design has never been about following trends or striving for perfection. It is about creating spaces that feel deeply personal and authentically lived in. Spaces that reflect who you are and support the way you live.
My approach to design is thoughtful and intuitive. I consider how natural textures invite you to slow down, how colour can subtly shape the mood of a space, and how each element works together to create balance and harmony. When a home is designed with intention, it allows the space to breathe and the people within it to feel truly at ease.
There is nothing more meaningful to me than seeing someone reconnect with their home when the space finally feels aligned with who they are.
I do what I do because I care deeply about how people live and how their homes make them feel, not simply how a room appears.
Design, when approached with care and heart, has the power to transform everyday living. It becomes the art of translating someone’s story into a space that feels unmistakably their own.
