Whittlesea, Vic
Our clients wanted to bring a contemporary farmhouse style into this 1980s home with a relaxing, welcoming and inviting appeal for their children and teenagers to enjoy.
As a starting point for this staged project, we redesigned the main bathroom and one of the bedrooms was updated.
The exposed brick walls in the bedroom were painted white to bring a more modern aesthetic and enhance a greater sense of space. The colour scheme is achromatic, delivering a rustic and neutral essence of calm and rest.
The outdoor rural setting on the wall hanging hints at a Southern American style carried through the bedding and rug that uses geometric diamond patterns. Textured neutrals and natural fibres create the warmth and simplicity of this bedroom retreat.
