THE ESSENCIA INTERIORS EXPERIENCE
THIS IS HOW WE TURN WHAT CATCHES YOUR EYE INTO A HOME that truly belongs to you.
One plan across every room, built in rounds you respond to in your own time, and tested on the board before anything is bought.
HOW WE DESIGN INTERIORS AT ESSENCIA
A DEEPLY PERSONAL PROCESS.
Never a formula.
01 — DISCOVER
It starts with you.
Your tastes, your lifestyle, your existing pieces, your aspirations — and sometimes the things you can't quite put into words yet.
02 — DEFINE
Your direction takes shape.
We turn those conversations into a cohesive design concept, bringing together colour, materials, furniture, lighting and the details that make it yours.
03 — DELIVER
Then we make it happen.
Choose the level of support that suits you — from a complete eDesign blueprint to full-service sourcing, procurement and installation.

STAGE 01 · DISCOVERWE START FROM WHAT YOU ALREADY LOVE & how you live
The first conversation is a phone call, not a brief. After it comes a questionnaire that asks about more than furniture: how you use each room, where you like to travel, what you would never part with. Then an inspiration board comes back to you, built mostly from the styles you named and partly from ones you did not. You tell us what you like and what you do not, and your direction comes out of that rather than out of a label.
A call booked within 24 hours of your enquiry
A questionnaire about the way you live, not the way you decorate
An inspiration board with pieces that gives you clarity and takes your taste to the next level
Existing and sentimental furniture noted at the start, not worked around at the end
STAGE 02 · DEFINETHE PLAN IS BUILT with you, NOT HANDED TO YOU
Mood boards and product recommendations arrive in a shared design document, one round at a time, and you respond whenever it suits. Colour, texture, scale and cost get weighed together rather than one at a time. If something stalls, we pause instead of pushing, and go to find more options. Every choice is tested on the board first, which is where changing your mind is free.
One plan across the whole space, not a room at a time
Rounds of feedback you give in your own time
Measurements taken on site where access allows, including lifts and doorways
Nothing ordered until you have seen it and agreed to it
STAGE 03 · DELIVERTAKE THE PLAN AS IT IS, OR hand the whole thing over
Some clients want the blueprint and nothing more: a layout, a product list and enough direction to work through it on their own timeline. Others hand over everything. We have coordinated freight, met site managers, taken delivery of furniture, arranged assembly and collected keys for a client who was not in the country. The two routes are identical up to this point. Only the last stage changes.
A complete E-Design blueprint, ready for you to act on
Or sourcing, ordering, freight, delivery and installation handled for you
Suppliers coordinated to one install date rather than weeks of arrivals
On-site attendance for measuring, styling and installation where it is needed
WHAT HAPPENS DURING YOUR CONSULTATION?
GIVE US JUST ONE PHONE CALL AND WE’LL TELL YOU exactly where to start
Send an enquiry and we will be in touch to find a time. The call covers the rooms you have, what you want to keep, and how much of the rest you would like to hand over.
A clear scope for the rooms in question
An honest read on timing, budget and the level of support that fits
A sense of whether we are the right fit for each other
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
Most of it happens in a shared document, in your own time. Expect a phone call at the start, a questionnaire, and then rounds of feedback you fit around everything else. Clients who reply quickly move quickly, and that is the only real variable.
-
That is what the board stage is for. Changes cost nothing until something has been ordered, which is exactly why nothing is ordered early.
-
No. Feedback happens in the shared document, so it fits around work and time zones. The only fixed appointments are the first call and any on-site visits you want.
-
Not until the last stage. Discover and Define run the same either way. The difference is whether you take the blueprint from there or we carry it through for you.
-
A rough budget, photos of the space, and dimensions if you have them. Anything that has caught your eye is useful too, including Pinterest boards. If you do not have dimensions, we will work out how to get them.
-
We pause. Anica would rather give you a week to sit with an idea than talk you into it, and if a single item is holding things up she goes and finds more options for it.
-
Ordering, lead times and freight. Where we are handling it, each item is tracked, suppliers are coordinated to a single install date and assembly is arranged. Where you are handling it, the blueprint tells you what to order and in what order.
-
Starting. Once the first inspiration board comes back it gets easier, because you are reacting to something in front of you instead of trying to imagine it.
