‘Mid-century meets Boho’ was the brief for this open-plan living, including kitchen, dining and living areas.

Tamina had moved to the home recently. She felt that the furniture didn't fit into the space and it felt cluttered. And she had lots of art that hadn’t been hung and would like to show them off in the new space. Tamina wanted the space to feel comfortable, tidy, spacious and easy to move around in. Her budget had some flexibility as the plan was to continue to complete the room over time.

To reflect her warm personality, she wanted her home to be bright, colourful and inviting… and especially favoured warm colours like orange, pink and sage green. Tamina liked the look of hardwood timbers like oak and walnut. She liked a mix of Boho, Mid-Century and Spanish style interiors.

Anica came up with a Design Plan that matched Tamina’s personality. The result was a plan with colours and design elements from styles Tamina liked, and a floorplan with a functional layout to create a more spacious feel.

“Anica was a great communicator and always followed up promptly. She took her time to understand our style and respond to all our feedback. She had some really creative ideas that made us excited about redecorating. The design we ended up with is exactly what we wanted and feels very cohesive. We're excited to implement her design!”
